Parkour is also known as the Art of Movement, or in English speaking countries as Free-running. It's practitioners are known for scaling and descending structures in highly improbable ways. It's primarily an urban art-leaping from rooftop to rooftop is hard to do when buildings are far apart. And it's practitioners seem to be unable to agree if they are trying to compose a new way to move through cities, looking cool for videos, or something else. It is in inarguable fact that practitioners of this art will invariably vault over a low wall rather than walk around it, or run up a cement handrail rather than take the stairs. Parkour enthusiasts look really cool until they screw up, at which point they may be left literally hanging, wondering how to get down from the roof of a three story building they are only clinging to by their fingers. Jumping up and grabbing onto the roof of a building to pull yourself up and run over it is a basic and fundamental part of the style.
