When the writer says, IN ALL CAPITALS, in her author's note, that a story is a ONE-SHOT, you will not win bonus points by asking her to continue.

Chances are, she DOES NOT CARE WHAT HAPPENS NEXT, and is not eagerly thinking of new ideas to make you happy. Instead, she is cursing you in foreign languages and wondering what she did wrong in a past life.

Yes, she's happy that you like the story enough to want more of it.

But she still thinks you're bloody stupid.

I' mmroe stupid than al lthe reviewers together >I bookmark piels foficsand neglectto read them. and neglect to finish readig nseveral itneresting novels..for more than ayear .chances are soem of the wips i started reaign age ago are finished or abandoned by now (adn it happend in one cse wer i should laug hat myself for beign frustrated oer it when I' skipped t somethin oohshiny! instead of stayign i nthat fic).
I do agree though. one-shot is jsut what it means .and I hate itwhen peoel write a sequel by popular demand. I'd liek peope to keep otheir plan of just writing one and not tip over for a loud chorus of "write more!!!"
did I jsut say author'should' do something? ouch. sorry.
