I approve of this plot thread with Equius.

...Is it just me, or is he using his salvage job as an excuse and rationalization to move in the direction of Vriska's house, thus putting him in a position to follow Karkat's orders without having to admit that he was following them (even to himself)?

I'm tempted to say that Aradia should be in the middle of cataloging and translating her finds when Davven arrives, but it is plainly obvious that the following is the only proper course of events:

====>Aradia's lusus: Return home from walk.
====>Aradia: Greet lusu--OH DEAR GOG WHERE DID YOU GET THAT I THOUGHT I THREW THAT AWAY
====>Aradia: Proceed to freak out about nightmare clown puppet dragged home by lusus
====>Aradia: Attempt to dispose of puppet. Again.
====>Aradia's lusus: Resist emphatically.
====>Davven: Blink in. Observe horrorpuppet tug-of-war. Acquire mental scars.
