I just spent a couple hours reformatting all the chapters of "Fixation, and Other Stories" so I can post that fic (or fic collection?) on AO3... which I will do tomorrow, dammit. There is only so much fiddle-faddle I can cope with in any twenty-four hour period.

(I dislike and distrust rich text editors, you see, so I hand-code all my italics. I also had to rationalize the different summaries and story-structure explanations I used on ff.net and my journal, not to mention copypaste the little end-of-chaper notes that were on ff.net but mysteriously not in my document files, and then dredge up the alternate prompt response to theme #22 because I want that more readily accessible, and... nrgh. I also turned a whole bunch of semicolons into periods, because of narrative flow issues. I like semicolons, but I used to seriously overuse them, which annoys me when I reread my older stories. So the AO3 version will not be exactly the same as the ff.net version, but that's okay. It can become the new canonical version.)

Now I am going to get back to writing. I am not doing NaNo this year, but I am attempting to write something new every day in November -- by which I mean a minimum of a couple hundred words -- and so far I have only written fifty today. Therefore, back to the salt mines!
