This is fairly AU for Naruto, since "Tides" swerved away from canon all the way back in 2005... but Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke are the heart of that story (even when their team seems irreparably broken), so I guess you could say Naruto is the epic saga of three kids becoming friends, growing up, deciding what and who is most important to them (sometimes changing their minds quite dramatically, several times over!), and fighting for the fate of their world.
But anyway, on Susan's scale of trouble, being tied to a tree by three young and reasonably polite soldier-types (whom she startled when they were obviously on a bit of a hair-trigger) hardly counts. Tea and dinner are much more important. :-)
