seen en route to the grocery store

Ithaca Falls at noon on December 14, 2013.
Sorry about the weird streak on the far right edge. It was snowing, and I suspect that’s water on my phone’s camera lens.
(Also, yes, I do walk over a creek and past a gorgeous waterfall every time I go grocery shopping. *grin* As I have said before and will doubtless say again, I live in a ridiculously scenic area. Seriously, if you ever get a chance to visit the Finger Lakes region of New York, take it.)

Unlike Fall Creek, there is a hiking trail in the Cascadilla Creek gorge, so you can climb from downtown to Collegetown right beside the water... but not in the winter, because nobody wants to deal with that much snow and ice removal. *wry*
