These works are from pages 9 & 10 of the Ladystuck 2013 archive, as sorted chronologically. I will try to get another post for the next two or three pages up by Friday evening, and will plow duly onward until I finish, even after authors are revealed. I am not posting AO3 warnings and tags; you will have to read them in the header information of the works themselves and decide whether to scroll down from there. WRITING

1. Letters: The awakening of the Princess of Prospit may be the largest event of the year, but the Parcel Mistress still has a job to do. (4,250 words, by conceptofzero)

Wonderful world-building for Prospit and the pre-game Medium, and an adorable character exploration of PM.

2. Where Pirates All Are Well To Do: Or, in which a young midblood thief gets in way over her head with a clever though overtired highblood girl and receives, for her efforts, one shiner, one rousing discussion of troll history and literature, and one itsy bitsy flush crush. Vriska<3Kanaya. (6,400 words, by Jalules)

Alternate history plus bloodswap: namely, Kanaya and Vriska have switched places. The effects on their characters -- what changes and what doesn't -- are skillfully drawn, and the interaction between the two girls is ridiculously adorkable.

3. We Sink: A tragedy in eight parts. (1,100 words, by placentalmammal)

Mindfang and Redglare, with glorious world-building despite its brevity.

4. Stars and Snow: In which the heroes of Space agree to create a new universe and have the most awkward sex in the history of either of their species. Jade/Kanaya. (1,200 words, by silver_sandals)

This is bizarrely adorable, and the sex, while indeed incredibly awkward, is also very sweet.

5. Gumshoe Tango: You first meet Terezi Pyrope while you are working the Lalonde case. Though it's probably more accurate to say you get acquainted with her cane first. She trips you on your way escorting Miss Lalonde out of the police station. "Watch where you're going!" the troll chides, a wide grin stretching her face. "Don't you know it's rude to step on the blind?" Jane<3<Terezi. (3,800 words, by Azzandra)

Stop whatever you are doing and go read this fic. Right now. It is THAT GOOD.

6. from S-EA to shining S-EA: You don't know who had the clever idea to have you and your sister rule the empire together, but if you ever find out, you are going to have some words with them. Feferi<>Meenah. (4,100 words, by callunavulgari)

How two young tyrianbloods face their future together, with the help of various trollish friends and alien allies.

7. the gauntlet has been thrown: The course of true hate never did run smooth. In which Aranea starts to come home roughed-up and smug(ger than usual), Meenah is overprotective, Roxy is incredulous, and Roxy's buddies are highly amused. Roxy<3<Aranea. (2,200 words, by feralphoenix)

I dare you to read this without laughing. No, seriously, I dare you. *evil grin*

I have no words. This is just... I mean... that is... Argh. Right. Okay, it is long. It's kind of a rare pairing. It's dark and violent and creepy and wildly AU. Do not let any of that put you off. READ THIS. It is absolutely worth every minute.

3. The Best All-Girl Paranormal Investigation Team Ever: Jane, Aradia, Roxy, and Terezi form the core of an all-girl paranormal investigative team, sometimes getting help from Rose and Jade on bigger jobs. (by quantumsiren)

To quote myself: I get the feeling most of them are sitting there saying, "Are we actually facing an infestation of cartoon Halloween ghosts? With the cute tails and fangy boo-faces? Awesome!!!" while Rose is just, "...This is so embarrassing, I thought you guys only called me in for serious jobs."
