These works are from page 8 of the Ladystuck 2013 archive, as sorted chronologically. I meant to finish page 7 as well, but I got a bit distracted by other things, whoops. [ETA: Now with creator names attached!]

Ladystuck 2013 rec list, part 2

WRITING
1. Once In A Lullaby: When Jade Harley found herself floating in empty space with no memory of how she'd gotten there, she wasn't sure what to expect! [Jade Harley + Calliope, friendship in a bubble.] (1,300 words, by TobuIshi)
A pitch-perfect mix of sweet and heartbreaking.
2. Salting the Ruins: "I'm a time traveler!" Aradia shrieks, throwing her hands in the air. She adds, on thought, "And probably immortal, too!" The blueblood pauses for a moment in describing the sheer sexual belligerence of her fuckorgans to stare. Aradia/Feferi. (2,600 words, by sunsmasher)
Aradia on Beforus, fighting historical revisionism through, as the author says, timey-wimey bullshit and unwise lesbianism.
3. Xtreme Eve (The Genuine Human Christmas Experience): A treatise on human holidays in a mixed-species, post-colonial world: or, how Kanaya Maryam failed to learn the true meaning of Christmas. Contains mentions of medianoche machete madness, Gandalf/Saruman fanfiction, Britney Spears's line of perfume, an academic debate on the relative merits of A Christmas Story versus that of The Muppet Christmas Carol, the Christmas Wizard, ugly kitten sweaters, a dramatic moment revolving around an ill-fated pomegranitini, and Kanaya Maryam being very completely fed up with everyone's shit. Kanaya/Rose. (9,200 words, by sfingella)
A gloriously characterized Kanaya, trying to understand and cope with all the weirdness and badly repressed issues of the Lalonde and Strider clans.
4. THE PRESSURE IN OUR BODIES: Post-Sburb, Jade and Rose help each deal with their eldritch woes. Jade/Rose. (2,400 words, by pressforward)
A wonderfully balanced mix of domestic cuteness and angst set against a lightly sketched backdrop that becomes more unsettling the more one thinks about it.
5. A Balance of Power: The Beforan Sgrub players are returned home, each with their dancestor in tow. Can the Pyrope girls regain their bearings in time to prevent a messy political situation from spiraling out of conchtrol? (3,900 words, by bramblePatch)
Wherein Latula and Terezi have to run damage control on Feferi and Meenah, and we get a really neat look at Beforus in the process.

ART
1. i will never look away: Artwork for Homestuck Ladyfest 2013. Calliope/Roxy. (by schellibie)
To quote the prompt: 'shy, tall, calliopes and confident, small, roxys just warm my heart when they're together'
---------------------------------------------
Hmm. Possibly I should write up my reveal day posts? Yes, I think I will go do that.
