I am halfway to the minimum wordcount on my NFE fic -- by which I mean I have written 500 words. I am not remotely close to halfway done with the actual story. But hey, it's a start!

I am playing around with narrative voices again this year, though not as dramatically as I did with "Queen Lucy, the Firebird, and the Death of Koschei the Deathless." Sometimes it's fun to do something different from my normal style. *grin*

And now I am going to bed, because I have a dog to feed and walk in the morning.

(I think this is the first time in years that I have gone to bed before 1am more than two days in a row without being sick. SO WEIRD.)
