Thanks! Somebody, I don't remember exactly who or where, said that she hadn't really warmed to Karen for a while... until she realized that the show was treating her as a protagonist instead of a love interest or sidekick. She gets her own plot (with Ben) that intersects with Matt's plot at key points but is not dependent on his. And that's true, and I love that she gets that much respect from the showrunners.

Being a dragon is a perfectly valid life goal. More people should subscribe to it. :D
