We are supposed to get massive amounts of rain and have mudslides and flooding. So far we've had nothing more than a couple of very light, brief, showers, though they have had real rain in Southern California.

Of course we need the rain, but what we need even more is snow in the Sierras, and if it's an unusually warm winter (which is also predicted), we may not get that even if it's wet.
