Well, Underboss did say she'd be willing to give a reference, so hopefully that was true and not simply public politeness. And yeah, I now have more experience dealing with phone systems (Not the IRS is kind of rudimentary on that front), learning to use proprietary computer systems, and maintaining medical levels of confidentiality, which is nice.

I think I will enjoy doing actual tax stuff at Not the IRS, but I'm not sure what's going to happen after April 15th. Presumably I could apply for unemployment again at that point, but I'd really prefer to have another job lined up instead...
