The problem with writing a whole bunch of three-sentence ficlets is then I have to update my master fic directories. And I swear to god, every time I participate in one of these ficathons I end up writing for at least one new-to-me fandom, which means I need to rearrange a bunch of internal links in my miscellaneous fic directory. I think I might also want to switch one fandom over from the 'miscellaneous' post to the 'minor fandom' post because it's crossed my intangible boundary line for quantity of words/stories. And now might also be a good time to slice crossovers-with-Narnia out from the rest of the miscellaneous crossover section, and then shove the non-Narnia 2011 Three Sentence Ficathon crossover fills in with the rest of the miscellaneous crosses; I think that is a more sensible page arrangement all around.

But argh, the copypasting and html is so much stupid fiddly WORK. *headdesk*

Remind me again why I thought maintaining an organized record of my own writing on a site that's not naturally formatted for such things was a good idea?

...

(Because it's better to do the work once and then have a clean way to find stuff than it is to tear my hair out every time I want to look anything up, because AO3 is not an adequate substitute for several reasons, and because I don't want the aggravation of maintaining my own webpage, that's why. But still. ARGH.

*returns to fiddling*)
