Basically, I started by numbering them in Japanese and then free-associated from those words. It goes Ichi-->Ichigo-->Strawberry, Ni-->Knights Who Say Ni-->Herring, San-->let's be formal!-->San-san, Shi-->death-->Sandman-->Ankh. If I'd had a fifth and sixth plant at the time, they'd probably have been Chess (Go-->classic board game-->Chess) and Elvis (Roku-->rock-->rock and roll-->Elvis), respectively. *wry*
