wherein life marches on
Apr. 20th, 2016 10:44 amLast night was the celebratory end-of-season dinner for the staff of the plaza office, which was nice. We went to a nearby restaurant, ate a whole bunch of appetizer platters, drank margaritas, and managed to gripe about politics without getting too heated (even though we cover quite a spread of political opinions/orientations). We may or may not have another dinner or two over the next couple months -- one hosted by district management because we passed our max revenue target for the year, and one hosted by some of my coworkers just because.
This morning I had a dentist appointment -- no new cavities, yay! Also the hygienist sanded down a rough spot on one of my old fillings that made it hard to clean between two of my upper left teeth, because the filling's edge kept shredding the floss. So that should be helpful going forward.
And tomorrow I will attempt to give blood. Hopefully I am not borderline anemic anymore. (If I fail the hemoglobin test again, I think I may try buying some iron supplements, because that has been getting ridiculous.)
