stuff done: Monday-Thursday

1. Photographed my kitchen garden projects.
2. Put away laundry.
3. Brought empty recycling bins from curb to porch.
4. Adjusted my Not the IRS availability so I should be able to chaperone a planned youth group event in March. Also agreed to work a shift this coming Thursday -- I guess somebody else had an unexpected Thing turn up and needed someone to cover for them.
5. Took the household compost bin to the curb for pickup. Annoyingly, it has not been picked up. I'm not hauling the blasted thing back again, so it can just sit there until next week -- and if nobody picks it up then, I will call Landlord Dude and have him complain to the compost company until they get their act together.
6. Sliced off the excess gold paint from the final picture frame, which is now ready for Mom to take home. (And take to a frame shop for repair, but still. The painting part is now finished.)
7. Bought a tiny bottle of red wine to use in cooking pot roast this weekend.
8. Paid my credit card and health insurance bills. I also got rid of all my credit card statements from 2011. (Yes, keeping five full years of statements is probably excessive; three years should be more than enough. But I have a filing cabinet and am set in my ways. *wry*)
9. Cut my fingernails and toenails.
10. Second meeting of the church stewardship committee. We have tentatively chosen a slogan and theme for this year's pledge campaign, and by next meeting we should have a firm date for our big dinner shindig, which will determine a number of other dates as we work backward from that evening.
11. Sorted through my gardening cupboard. I got rid of a bunch of small pots that are functionally useless to me, and the things that remain are now somewhat more logically organized. I still want a shelving unit so I can store the stuff that won't fit in the cupboard (windowboxes, big watering can, leaf scoopers for fall raking, etc.) but this is at least an improvement over the previous utter chaos.
12. Figured out why the Cotton Candy Bingo prompt ficlet I've been trying to write hasn't been working, and started over with a new approach that seems to be going better so far. Hopefully I'll have that done and posted sometime this weekend. :)
