Redhead? what redhead?

I was trying to draw her as a blonde, as the description of her is taken from this quote.

"Tsukime heaved a long-suffering sigh and pushed through the tawny tassel grass to the narrow strip of lush green that hugged the stream bank. She sat delicately beside Naga, arranging her ridiculous pleated skirt to cover her thighs. Then she unzipped the red legwarmers she always tied onto her sandals, kicked off the shoes, and wriggled her toes in the dirt."

I suppose that means I should go and get different coloring materials.

She looks blonde to me, but maybe the highlights are confusing? They are kind of orange.

curious one thing about Uchiha.. they have black hairs.. but why do that particular girl have blonde hairs that the rest of them have black hairs? oh well...

Actually, there's ONE Uchiha who doesn't have black hair, so it's not entirely impossible. They just tend to have black hair more often.

And Gabriel, I think that's a problem of language. XD in french, blond with orange accents = "blond venitien" = pale redhead. I think for me to see her as a true blonde, she'd need to have brown shadows on her hair instead of orange, but yes, I do see the blond part just fine. It's just the highlights that confused me. XD

Officially, she has blonde hair because she's not from the 'core' Uchiha family lines, where they've managed to inbreed variant hair colors out. She's from a more distant branch of the family, whose members have married outside the clan and thus brought other hair colors into their genetic makeup.

Unofficially, she's a Sailor Moon parody, because I have a weird sense of humor.
