I have a minor computer problem (disregarding the fact that I'm still running the damn thing on Safe Mode about 6 months after it went kablooey on me). In MS Word, I seem to have detached the menu bar from the rest of the window, so it's just floating randomly around the screen. I restarted the computer, but the problem didn't go away. Does anyone know how I can put the menu bar back in its place?

(This is the menu bar that has File, Edit, View, Tools, etc. on it. It normally sits above the basic icon bar -- that one has the new file icon, the open file icon, the text formatting stuff, and so on.)

It should just go back where it belongs if you grab it with your cursor and drop it back up there. There shoulr be a title bar on top or a bar along the right side of the tool bar that you can use to grab it.

Thanks! I have no idea why that didn't work the first few times I tried it, but after I restarted the computer again, the menu bar popped right back into place when I dragged it there.

I gave up trying to understand my computer a LONG time ago...
