I got my table-top ironing board and my electric iron!!!
*happy dance*
Vicky likes the potato cookbook, Mom likes her Tuscany tourist photo book thingy, and Dad likes his new shirt. (Vicky and I went in together on that one; it's a high-quality shirt, and those are expensive.)
Writing has kind of died in the face of family & friends & holiday stuff. However, I did get about 200 words of "Apartment Manager" written yesterday. I'd like to finish chapter 2 while I'm in NJ, at which point I'll post chapter 1. I'll edit "Secrets" Monday evening once I'm back in Ithaca. And possibly I can hack out another chunk of "Paint the Town" somewhere in there.
I dunno though. I'm off to Pat's this evening, tomorrow evening is Bad Action Movie Night (though we may change things up and see "Ocean's Twelve" in theater instead of renting, say, "Van Helsing"), and I think Vicky has me scheduled for something sisterly tomorrow afternoon. This doesn't leave ages of writing time.
