'Strange Likenesses' chapter 2 should be up on FA sometime this coming week, along with 'Definitions of Romance.' (Of course, you've already read the latter, but I'm kind of curious as to how many more reviews I can get by putting it up other places. Am next heading off to post it on ff.net.)

Then I'm going home to do various weekendy type chores and work on 'Apartment Manager' chapter 9. Scene One, in which Yukiko comes home and meets Naruto, is finished. In Scene Two, she and her cousin Yusuke discuss their family, the state of the building (and his responsibilities pertaining thereto), and Naruto. Then I think Scene Three should be training for the third test, or something along those lines. Maybe an unexpected meeting with Sarutobi Hokage-sama? Hmm. Must go home and ponder.

See, I know more or less how Yukiko's fights go, but I'm not sure of the others' fights -- like who's fighting whom, and what various people's special skills are. This requires a bit of planning, and possibly some coin flipping. Well, that or writing names and pulling them out of a hat.

Also, random theory as to why some Naruto characters don't have family names: they're war orphans and nobody knows who their parents were. Or, in the case of the Sand siblings, their father gave up his family name on becoming Kazakage, so they're just "of the Sand."

Of course, that doesn't explain why Naruto himself has a family name. But maybe Sarutobi just felt sorry for him, or he named himself at some point.
