What I did today:

1. Gave blood -- yay, my not-quite-anemia is gone!
2. Wrote about 1000 words of 'Apartment Manager'
3. Acquired a footstool so I can actually reach my mailbox

I feel productive, yo. :-)

Hey! That's 1,000 more words than I've written in the past week. OR two. AND you gave blood, which is the most important thing :)

I'm particularly happy about giving blood since I haven't been able to for over three years.

It was embarrassing, especially since I talked my mom into giving blood and she's a really enthusiastic donor now. And I'd have to listen to her talking about giving blood while I sat there saying, "Yeah, I tried again. Iron's still too low," over and over and over...

It feels good to be back in the game! :-)
