This is part of an actual review for "The Way of the Apartment Manager."

What a great story! Sometimes I can't recognize it's an OC. I was actually recommended to read this from one of my reviewers because my OC has proved to contain mixed reviews-from good to bad. She said that your story is one of the best OCs she's ever read!

I've always said that there's nothing inherently wrong with original characters in fanfiction, and that they're not really that hard to write well if you treat them as part of the canon world. That's how I write them. And see? It's working!

Editing "Knives" is taking a fair bit of time, since I'm overhauling it at a fairly detailed level. But as I have nothing else to do this evening and tomorrow -- well, besides put together my remaining furniture, which will involve glue and hammers and banging noises -- I think I will definitely be ready to send it out on Monday.
