Actually managed to get up in the morning today (yesterday doesn't count, since I had massive insomnia and was unable to get back to sleep after 3:30am) and am downtown waiting for my... acquaintance, I guess, since I don't feel we know each other well enough to call him a friend... London's turn to perform at the Ithaca fall festival thing. I think it's called Apple Harvest Festival, or something like that.

The weather is utterly miserable, cold and mizzling, but I said I'd be here, so here I am. Here's hoping the music's good!

Edit: It was, indeed, good. His group, Blue Sky Mission Club, does a sort of rock-influenced hoe-down music. They have drums, a bass guitar, electric guitar (that's London), violin, accordion, and washboard; they switch off who's singing. When next I have some spare money, I must ask London about buying one of their CDs.
