Am still sick -- apparently I pushed too hard yesterday and have had a slight relapse. *sigh* I seem to be getting a nagging cough, which bugs me. I hate coughs. I've hated them since I was twelve years old and faked a cough to stay out of school... which ended up irritating my throat enough that I got a real cough that hung on like grim death for two weeks. By the end of that, my throat was practically bleeding and my tongue was raw from all the cough drops I had sucked. And I'd missed my own birthday party because I was sick. That was not fun.

Anyway. Chapter 2 of "Guardian" is now 3/4 finished, and should be up sometime this weekend. And next week I can go hit a bunch of stores and ask if they need employees. (Can't do much active job-hunting while sick, since coughing and honking on the telephone isn't likely to make me sound employable, and coughing and sneezing in person is even worse. *sigh*)
