I had an hour or so of comparitive lucidity last night, during which I wrote about 250 words of "Finding Marea." I'm not sure how well they'll hold up a few days from now, but I'm happy with that.
I left work early today, since I didn't strictly need to be there this afternoon, and am heading home for lunch and a nice long nap. Tomorrow I'm working a 9 hour shift. That will be... interesting.
My parents have been in Europe for the past couple weeks, so I was trying to pick up the slack and call my grandmother every couple days. The thing is, every time I called her she wasn't around to pick up the phone, except one time when I got a busy signal. Then, last night -- the day before my parents get home -- I finally got through and we had a 2-minute conversation, the gist of which was that we were both fine and she was going to bed early.
*headdesk*
I left her a message one time, but I'm not sure she knows how to use her answering machine, so how much good that did is anybody's guess.
