Quote of the Day

Anyone can do any amount of work, provided it isn't the work he is supposed to be doing at that moment.
---Robert Benchley
...
One of these days I have got to stop procrastinating.
But not today. :-)
---------------------------------------------
Work was a little nuts today, since we had the Haddon House (foreign candy, etc.) order from yesterday left to price and put downstairs, the coffee order to take downstairs and organize, two book orders, lottery tickets, and half a STNC supply order. Also, MS called in sick, which meant that JM and PM were on their own until noon, and then PM and I were alone until 4pm, and then ET came in to pinch-hit until 6pm. Everything got done, and in plenty of time -- probably because of the massive thunderstorm that rolled through Ithaca around 3pm and cut store traffic to lower-than-normal levels -- but there were a few moments I was worried.
Also, I just hope MS gets better. Being sick sucks. *sends happy thoughts*
