I should probably be writing, but I am feeling singularly uninspired. Not in the "Help, the words are hiding from me" way, but in the "Oh god, writing? But I don't want to" way. So I have been reading instead.

Among the things I've read is Where's My Cow?, which is by way of being a Discworld picture book. Yes, really. It's far from the most inspired picture book I've read, but it's serviceable, and cute.

However, the illustration of Lord Vetinari is clearly and unmistakeably Sean Penn.

I do not have the words to express how wrong that is.

I haven't managed to see an actual copy of it yet BUT I'm sure someone else told me he looked like Pete Postlethwaite in it.

So now I'm *really* confused...

Suffice it to say someone LESS like SeanPenn it would be harder to find.

Where's My Cow isn't a stand-alone, it's just an accompaniment to Thud!.

I thought Vetinari looked more like Allan Rickman - who would be a reasonable choice for the film Vetinari IMO. But then I don't think that I've ever seen a film with Sean Penn in it and so I'm not terribly familiar with him.
