I was working on my final mini-ficlet prompt meme response when I realized there was a line that wouldn't make sense without another as-yet unfinished and unposted fic in that fandom, and yet the situation demanded that line in order to maintain continuity with my other Enchanted Forest fics.

Maintaining internal continuity is not absolutely necessary in the grand scheme of things, of course, but I really do like to do so unless there's a pressing reason not to.

Which means, I guess, that I should get off my butt and finally finish "A Question of Familiarity" so I can then write a ficlet about Telemain and one of Morwen's cats set between Searching for Dragons and Calling on Dragons.

I think I feel positive enough about the world that this is an achievable goal. Let's see how far I get...

I made a couple hundred words of progress, but kept getting interrupted by actual work before I could settle into a rhythm.

Curse this unfortunate need to earn money, get myself out of my apartment, and stabilize my mental health by both having contact with other human beings and doing something to feel useful! *wry*

I have several Big Tasks that will eat most of my time and spoons on Thursday, but I'll try to get some writing done in the evening and hopefully finish at least one of the fics on Friday.
