I felt better on Monday, until about halfway through my shift at Not the IRS, at which point I began degenerating until I felt like death warmed over. I have felt like death warmed over for most of today as well, but left work only two hours early (because money and inertia, I guess). And now I am going to take a shower and collapse, because UGH.

Also I really hope tomorrow's snowstorm is as large as predicted, and we close early. I could really use the extra sleep...

I slept for shit until about midnight, but after that it was pretty good sleep. And on the plus side, I have discovered that although Benadryl is intended for allergies rather than colds, it seems to do tolerably well at drying up my respiratory gunk factory regardless of what's causing the snot explosion. *wry*

Ugh. That sounds like a day made of suck, all right. And like you probably got bit by one of the flu bugs.

*makes equivocating gesture* I honestly have no idea how many times I've had the flu in my life, because my bad colds are such doozies they are basically mild flu anyway, achy joints, fever, and all. My body does not cope well with upper respiratory viruses.

Still, clementines and endless cups of tea do help...
