Today was much better than yesterday. I got back on top of my workflow at the rental office, the TC3 bookstore says they'll have my book in Thursday or Friday and will contact me once it's there (...I will still have to figure out how to get it from Dryden into my hands, but that's a problem for tomorrow), and after my church's annual meeting, I absconded with four slices of leftover pizza which will become dinner for the next few days. :)

The meeting was pretty boring, honestly, and the sanctuary was ungodly hot (we have no AC), but democracy is important and I almost never made it to church meetings while I was working at the smoke shop, so I try to attend whenever I can.

I took a Benadryl to combat the raw pea pods in the one salad dish that remained when I arrived at the tail end of the pre-meeting potluck dinner, so I think I will go to bed shortly.

(Leaving my AC on regular mode at 74F seems to have worked reasonably well, btw. My apartment was still warm when I arrived home, but 76F is much better than 80F, and the humidity was reasonable instead of ungodly sticky. I'll take it. *wry*)
