General life updates:

1. I have not yet passed the kidney stone, dammit. On the bright side, the pain was manageable with just ibuprofen today. (Admittedly, mild overdoses of ibuprofen, but no more than I do for period cramps, so.) On the less bright side, my body has apparently decided that it really wants to get rid of this thing, and I therefore keep feeling like I need to pee even when I can tell my bladder is already empty. It's an itchy, achy feeling and I don't like it.

(Although maybe that's just because I had to cut back the ridiculous water consumption levels at work? It seems to have tapered off since I got home and started pouring water through myself as if I'm a sieve.)

Also, when you find yourself desperately wrapping chunks of super-salty goat cheese in pepperoni slices and devouring them as if they're the most delicious thing on earth (which, okay, they are pretty tasty, but normally I'd like some other contrasting flavors in the mix), you know your electrolytes have gone a bit out of whack, oops.

Also also, I clean forgot to call the urologist today. *headdesk* I will try again tomorrow, hopefully with better luck since I have the day off work.

2. I paid the $56 that TC3 thinks I'll owe them for the fall semester. They'd already disbursed a bunch of excess financial aid to me over the spring and early summer, so I figure this is just me tossing some of that back in their direction. (I do need to keep track of all this for my taxes, blargh.)

3. Speaking of taxes! I plowed through another continuing education course today, as well as signing up for a virtual class running from late August through early September. I still haven't figured out how to get at the list of in-person classes offered in my district, but hopefully I'll dig that up from the company website at some point while there's still time to register. Because online classes are all well and good, but sometimes you just want to A) ask an actual human being some questions and B) socialize and catch up with your coworkers before January.
