the noble art of holiday card sketches

I decided to draw little festive doodles in my holiday cards after all. This is tedious and makes my hand hurt after a while, but dammit, I like making cute festive doodles so I will charge onward.
Also, after searching Google Images and making about a dozen practice sketches, I have finally developed a snowflake doodle that doesn't look like a collapsed souffle. \o/ This is good because I'm using it to replace the sleigh-with-packages doodle, since that one's really more aimed at little kids and all my cousins' children are teenagers now. (Where does the time go???)
Anyway, I'm all done with the family cards. Now it's on to friends, family friends, former coworkers, and current coworkers. (Ugh. Remind me why establishing and maintaining social bonds is a good thing...?)
-----
ETA: I have now developed a cardinal-on-branch doodle, because ambition is a good thing in moderation. :D
I have also finished everything except the cards for my current coworkers, which I will get back to work on in a few minutes. Tomorrow I will cart the whole bundle to the post office, buy some international stamps for the two cards going out of the USA, and drop everything into the mail.
