I'm pretty sure that Ginny and Pansy's dress robes are not described in the book. Neither is Neville's. (Then again, I was reading the Yule Ball chapter late at night and could easily have missed something.)

Draco's robe is dark and high-collared, and Harry thinks it make him look like a vicar. (I find it fascinating that Harry bothered to notice this, btw. *evil grin*) Ron's is maroon and looks like a dress, and has ragged cuffs where he used a Severing Charm on the lace. Hermione's is blue and made of 'floaty' material.

I have gone completely blank on Harry's own robe.

Anyway, the point of this is that even if the clothes aren't described in the book, they were shown in the movie, and I'm sure that scene forms the reference images for a bunch of people.

So... what did Ginny, Pansy, and Neville's robes look like? Inquiring minds want to know!

Don't currently have my books before me, so can't answer the specific question you asked. But in answer to the question you didn't ask, I distinctly remember Harry's dress robes being green, to match his eyes. (In the book, at any rate. Can't trust that darn cinema.)

They're bottle green, of course. "To go with your eyes, dear," says Molly, IIRC.

Hehe, I've seen the movie of GOF only once. Never did manage to watch the DVD (despite making a big deal about exchanging the bad copy I got at Best Buy) and now the DVD player is busted :(

I seem to recall that Pansy's rodes were described as hideous and pink, but I'm afraid I'm blanking on Ginny and Neville as well.

All the mentioned people, in order

Harry - bottle green (with mismatched socks knitted by Dobby: bright red with broomsticks; green with Snitches) (Moody comments on them, so they might not be visible under normal circumstances)
Ron - maroon, lace cut off with Severing Charm
Parvati - shocking pink, gold bracelets
Padma - bright turquoise
Fleur - silver gray satin
Pansy - frilly and pink
Crabbe and Goyle - moss green
McGonagall - red tartan, wreath of thistles on her hat
Hermione - floaty, periwinkle blue
Ludo Bagman - bright purple with large yellow stars
Madame Maxime - lavender silk
Percy - navy blue
Hagrid - horrible hairy brown suit
Weird Sisters - all hairy, dressed in ripped black robes

Well, all others seem to have been answered. Ginny and Neville's weren't mentioned in the books, but of course they appeared in the movie. Neville's were just black (as were Harry's, I was disappointed to note - green would've been so much more dignified!), and Ginny was wearing a rather strange dress. It has a spearmint green mesh skirt, a slamon pink band around the waist, a paler salmon pink bodice part, dark salmon pink buttons and a large Peter Pan spearmint green collar. And she's wearing a matching green cloth choker, too. The whole outfit just strikes me as being very...well, virginal, for want of a better word. Although I suppose she is only thirteen in the book.

The seventh picture shows Ginny's dress, unfortunately the link appears to be broken so I can't get a bigger picture.
