Things done today:

1. Worked 9am-3pm at Not the IRS, during which I made 30% of my contact calls (aka, calling people whose taxes I've prepared before and saying, "Hey, it's tax season! Let's make an appointment for you."). I loathe connect calls with every fiber of my being, so that is a much bigger deal than it sounds like.

2. Finished my third round of Not the IRS required paid training. (I will clock the actual paid time some other day this week, since I want the money but for obvious reasons I couldn't be simultaneously punched in under two work codes while at the office.)

3. Bought groceries.

4. Gave a person useful advice about bus routes.

5. Returned three library books, picked up a hardcopy hold that came in, and placed another ebook hold. I have decided I really like ebook borrowing. :D

6. Finished a Great Courses series on the Black Death.

7. Boiled eggs.

8. Backed up my computer.

Hopefully I'll manage another one or two Tasks before I go to bed, but even if not, I think that's a reasonable amount of progress.
