Due to the approaching massive winter storm, the Finger Lakes Chamber Ensemble concert to which I have tickets has been canceled (hopefully with a rain date, but at the moment nothing is certain), and for that and also just because driving will be bad and we suspect most other potential Things To Do will also be closed or canceled, Susan and I decided she won't come up to visit this weekend after all. :(

I'm still gonna dust mop my kitchen floor, though. I have let that slide for far too long.

Yeah. I'm supposed to drop my spawn off in Saratoga Springs and have been obsessively checking forecasts. Current plan is dash up there on Saturday morning, drop Spawn and the car off and then race to catch a 4 PM flight out of Albany.

Fingers crossed? The Albany weather reports show that it seems to be just starting in that later afternoon period on Saturday. So...hopefully I can get out. It's not great down here either -- we're getting the dreaded wintry mix.

Ugh, hopefully both upstate and downstate won't be hit too hard by these storms. Unfortunately, like you, this weather totally wrecked plans I had on catching up with friends this weekend.
