1. Yesterday and today we rented a bunch of studios. We also have two groups that have expressed serious interest in our last 5-bedroom apartment, so that's good. Progress by inches. :)

2. I am likewise making progress by inches in my recovery from the Cold of Doom. Tonight I think I may fall directly into bed when I get home, possibly even without stopping for dinner.

3. In the spirit of Shitposting February, a brief thought about chanterelles: When I was looking at the topic list at the above link, it occurred to me that I recognized that word as a word, and thought it probably had something to do with food (possibly a fancy Italian or French cookie) but that I didn't actually know. So I looked it up. Wikipedia informs me that a chanterelle is in fact a kind of edible mushroom. So yes, food-related, but no, not a cookie. Pity. I do think that name sounds like quite an elegant afternoon cookie, very thin and crisp and golden, best when dunked into coffee or strong black tea. (I guess the mushrooms are golden, at least?)

Chanterelles are golden and smell like apricots. We pick them in the autumn here in the Rocky Mountains. They are yum!
