Today I'm scheduled to work 9am to 9pm at Not the IRS, but Hill Boss wants to close around 3pm due to inclement weather. We've cancelled or rescheduled all appointments from 4pm onward... except mine, at 7pm.

I've left a voicemail and sent an email to the client, and hopefully he'll respond within the next couple hours.

In other news, my dentist appointment got rescheduled from tomorrow morning to 8:45am on March 4. This is not ideal, since March 4 is a Monday and I'm supposed to be at the rental office at 9am on Mondays, but cavities do need to be cleaned and filled eventually. *sigh*

-----

In other other news, my NYPL card arrived yesterday, so I am now able to borrow ebooks from the NYPL system. \o/

And now I'm going to go back to reading about bees. :)

Like you, we've had a ton of closings here already today. I am heading home as soon as my class ends at 2:30. I do hope that your client calls back and you can get that rescheduled!

Also, I just had a cavity filled last week, so I feel your pain! :P

Here's to the NYPL system, though! They have everything.

Oh, I'm so glad that you closed and you were able to leave early! That's excellent. Very glad the late client got rescheduled as well. :)

I was lucky in that I grew up in a city that had flouridated water, and then moved several other places that did as well. Also, I seem to have inherited my father's teeth rather than my mother's - she is prone to also sorts of teeth problems. This last cavity had actually developed around an existing filling, so it wasn't too bad. I hope your filling goes quickly and easily!

The NYPL is overwhelming, just in terms of sheer volume, but I love looking for things in their system. They have so much, so much historical material as well as books, and it just delights me. :)

Since the last conversation about the NYPL, I have actually used my library access and borrowed an e-book from their site.

I also do not recommend using their app, SimplyE, because it's still buggy and refused to let me return a book once I was done. LOL. It's still installed on my phone though but a coworker recommended the Libby app instead and it's definitely better.
