1. Boiled some eggs.
2. Took out trash and recycling.
3. Valiantly restrained myself from killing yet another tiny clementine tree through overwatering. (My impulse when seeing leaves shrivel up and drop is to think, "It must be thirsty!" but apparently with citrus trees, what they're actually saying with that action is "My roots are drowning!" I thought I'd let it dry out enough after planting to give it a drink a few days ago, but apparently not. Well, no more water until at least MLK day, I suppose.)
4. Scheduled a blood donation appointment for later this month.
5. Got all my January commitments onto my kitchen wall calendar, which is where I do my scheduling, and while there may be one or two tight turnarounds, everything seems to be workable.
Now I am going to take my daily walk, after which my tasks are, in order: A) lunch, B) weekly grocery run, C) write something, D) dinner, E) read something, F) change linens, and G) go to bed at a reasonable hour.
