Things done so far:

1. Started a batch of veggie sidedish, which I will be taking out of the crockpot in about five minutes.

2. Cleaned up the mouse poop in my under-sink cupboard (...the mice sprang my trap without getting injured and then had a little party, apparently), bought a Snickers for bait, and set a new trap. Also resolved for the umpteenth time to buy some hardware cloth or something and close up the hole around the water pipes, which is how they get in.

3. Sorted through another folder of childhood documents.

4. Took kitchen compost to the communal bin, twice. ...You know, the main reason I have a very small kitchen compost container is so I can't let stuff build up for too long and develop potentially sentient mold, but it is inconvenient on days when I'm doing multiple cooking projects.

5. Made taco salad for lunch. It was delicious. :DDD

And now I am off to package my veggie sidedish and head out to catch a bus.
