1. Rental office 9am-7pm. Once again, WHY ARE YOU ORDERING SO MANY PACKAGES? Also took prospective tenants on apartment tours. We rented our last 2-bedroom apartment to one of the tour groups. \o/ (The apartment had been rented previously, but the future roommates had some kind of catastrophic falling-out and the family of one was willing to swallow two months' rent (ie, the non-refundable one month's rent down payment for each tenant) in order to get out of the lease.) Also our shared office drive died in the evening so I was unable to complete a couple emails since I couldn't upload the necessary attachments, which was annoying.
2. Wrote not quite 400 words of the Narnia bridge fic -- it was about 250 to start with, and then I went back and fixed the opening of the scene to be more detailed about "and this is how a pre-modern city outskirts actually work!" Or, you know, accurate within the constraints of a story that is totally not about that, except insofar as it plays into the theme of metaphorically "bridging" the cultural gap between Telmarine Narnians and Old Narnians.
3. Roasted vegetables. SO MANY VEGETABLES. A big eggplant, a bunch of Brussels sprouts, and six small zucchini. Seasonings were: olive oil, sea salt, roasted garlic powder, black pepper, and dried oregano. Now I just have to figure out how to package them for tomorrow's meeting and lunch. (They are kind of heavy on the oil, which is a little annoying but eh, olive oil isn't terrible as oils go and hopefully I can get them to dry out/crisp up a smidge in Rev. Margaret's oven before serving them.)
4. Listened to more Magnus Archives episodes, both while walking to and from work and while roasting all the vegetables.
And that's about it, honestly. Chopping and roasting vegetables takes a lot more time than you'd think it would.
