Thing I Did Today: started attacking the printout of my still tragically untitled Narnia/Naruto crossover with red pen. I got through 9 of 46 pages (printed at 1.5 line spacing to leave room for my scribbles) before my brain was like, "Nope! Done now," but I then went and typed those edits into the actual document so hey, I'll take it.
This first section is the part that needed the most drastic changes -- basically I needed to switch two character motivations completely around, and lay some groundwork for later developments -- so it's good to have those out of the way. I think the middle section is mostly okay as-is, but while the end is structurally okay, it needs a lot of fleshing out in terms of sensory description. I also need to find a couple places to slip in some family backstory without derailing the narrative flow, because right now it kind of comes out of nowhere at the end of the story. *sigh*
Ah well. One pushes onward.
