Things I have done today:

1. Rental office 9am-5pm. You would think that, with the majority of our tenants gone, this would be a slow period. You would be wrong. I feel like I spent my day constantly trying to do four to seven things at once, and every time I finally knocked one off the list a new task magically appeared. *headdesk* Ah well, so it goes.

2. Started a batch of veggie sidedish. Apparently Lipton is no longer making their Recipe Secrets savory herb & garlic mix, but I was able to find a reasonable approximation of the ingredients online and I then approximated that with the spices I have on hand (and my own sense of flavor proportion and also my general dislike of parsley). I had previously tried making a batch with some Mrs. Dash seasoning mix that my mom gave me like... uh... ten years ago maybe? but I don't think the lemon in that works well with the flavor profile I'm generally aiming for.

3. Took compost to the communal backyard bin.

4. Did a little weeding while I was out there anyway, and squished another round of aphids. *sigh* I intensely dislike aphids.
