wherein Liz is very tired (how surprising)

I don't know why I've been so exhausted today -- I got nine and a bit hours of sleep, and the same the previous night, and I haven't been doing anything particularly strenuous though I did get in my daily walk so it's not lack of exercise making me tired (counter-intuitively, that is a thing that can happen). Maybe it's weird dreams? I always tend to have vivid story-like dreams, but these last two nights they've also been vaguely unsettling in a stress-dream pattern. That puzzles me because I am actually not under gobs of stress right now -- I'm in a small lull -- but maybe it's delayed processing?
Or maybe it's just red wine. I dunno. Brains and bodies are weird.
Anyway, so far today I have done some writing, done my 5 minutes of gardening, and run a bunch of newly purchase clothes through the laundry. (I bought four pairs of pants from the local consignment shop, and six t-shirts from Michaels because it struck me that A) solid-color cotton t-shirts are WAY cheaper than buying "nice" shirts at an actual clothing store and B) this way I could finally get the purple shirts that have apparently been unfashionable for the past several years. Purple is a good color on me, okay? And while I've been able to find a few purple long-sleeved shirts, the best I've been able to do for short-sleeved shirts is magenta. Which is also a good color on me, don't get me wrong, but it's not the same thing at all.) I have also made a few minor edits to my remix, and written a bit more on the Yukiko & Kakashi prompt fic from back in... uh... early July. *headdesk*
I currently need to do the following tasks:
1. put away laundry (both from today and from last Sunday)
2. apply patches to a pair of pants
3. cook some dinner
4. change linens
5. take out trash and recycling
6. more writing?
7. answer comments?
8. tax education?
...
I'm going to get started on the food. I can knock off some of the other tasks while things are in the oven.

ETA 9pm:
Thus far I've cooked two things -- one (beef and onion and chard) because I needed to use the ingredients before they went funny, and another (Laddie's hotdish) that I'm actually going to eat tonight -- taken out the trash and recycling, had an unplanned phone call with my mom, put away part of the laundry, changed my linens, and set up the ironing board and iron so I can apply the patches after I eat.
I also ordered some new patches from Amazon because Michaels was sold out (that's why I was there in the first place; the shirts were an on-the-spot inspiration) because I am now out of non-black patches and I suspect I'll need to do some more patch jobs on various khakis within the next month or so.
Now I'm going to eat dinner and maybe tackle some comment replies.
