They started the sedation drip as they wheeled me to the OR; I remember arriving, noticing the nifty overhead lights and that the room was cool, bright , drafty, and more cluttered with stuff and machines than I expected. Then I have a blank in my memory until I was back in my recovery cubicle and someone asked me if I wanted some juice.

Initially my wrist and hand were completely numb, but that has worn off and they are now sore -- a deep soreness, not a surface soreness -- and itchy.

I have some use of my left fingers, but moving them more than the barest wiggle tends to make my wrist throb so I am trying not to. For instance, I have typed this post one-handed... with extensive backspacing. *headdesk*

Now Mom and I are waiting for my laundry to dry, after which I think the plan is groceries, dinner, and bed. :)
