edenfalling

I got up a whole hour early this morning in order to shovel snow and I was still nearly half an hour late to work.

And then it kept snowing all day.

...

...

...

I am getting up an hour early tomorrow as well.

(Also, the next place I live, I am going to prioritize covered parking, because I am so done with unearthing cars from snow like artifacts from archaeological dig sites. Ugh.)

*offers hot tea* Covered parking is truly the gem of apartments in snowy regions. Then you just have to worry about the drift of snow the plows leave behind your back bumper. Much less painful.

The shoveling actually wasn't too bad this morning! But knocking/scraping the iced-up chunks of road sludge out of my wheel wells so the tires could turn was, shall we say, a frustrating task. Blech.
