let's play monopoly houses again

It's been an interesting change of pace to get to sit at my desk all day instead of charging around in the heat dragging staging materials hither and yon.
My current project is to get all our extant raw videos uploaded to photo albums in the downtown Google account (which I created and bought extra storage space for back in 2020 because I knew we'd need one, ha -- I do get reimbursed, but I should get Ms. Rise-and-Shine to switch the payment over to a company credit card this year) and send explanatory emails for each video to Social Media Guy. Then I can make him a new priority list and bask in the knowledge that all the balls will be in his court while I can turn to my numerous other tasks with a clear mind.
I should be able to get through that by... hmm... Wednesday if the weather cooperates, but definitely next Friday. (We need to record a couple building exterior intro segments, so I have to drag Mr. Geniality down to the Commons on an afternoon with blue skies and sunshine.) So that's good. :)
We are also clearing up our remaining handful of glitchy leases. One person had Visa complications and couldn't attend Cornell this year, but we were able to upgrade a different tenant into that apartment -- helpfully, that cut short what was gearing up to be a year-long clash of expectation vs. reality over shared bathrooms in dorm-style housing! We have someone ready to take over the dorm-style room that the upgrading tenant will vacate, provided they don't back out after tomorrow's scheduled tour. We have at least three people interested in renting another efficiency whose tenant was unable to attend Cornell this fall, so for that we just need to get the current "tenant" (who has neither paid rent nor moved in) to sign a lease termination agreement before we can officially slot someone else in there.
And we have one eviction in progress, which I hope will go smoothly because in addition to having paid no rent for over a year, the tenant in question smokes like a chimney in constant and blatant violation of the lease terms that forbid indoor smoking, and multiple neighboring tenants have made official complaints that the smoker keeps blithely ignoring. UGH.
There are a couple other sources of tenant conflict potentially brewing, but we're trying to get them resolved before they hit either the call the police and summarily evict phase (that one is very serious and we are watching the person in question like a hawk), or the bitch-eating-crackers stage of interpersonal conflict (that one is much less serious but has been ongoing for a while and I'm pretty annoyed myself).

In other news, I gave blood yesterday and spent today yawning at my desk, so I think I will hit the sack early and put off all attempts at assorted Tasks for tomorrow. *wry*
