floor plans and blood tests

Yesterday and today I processed a lot of tenant responses to the notification emails about the apartment hold period ending.
Once I ran through all the immediate responses, I returned to my interminable floor plan project. We now HAVE individual apartment floor plans for every unit in every building (because I constructed them out of scans and/or photos of ancient blueprint sketches, in many cases), so my current task is to create key plans of entire floors to show where apartments are located in relation to each other and various building amenities. I am also correcting and tidying some individual unit floor plans that either my predecessor made incorrectly or which I kind of threw together in a rush so we'd have something on the website.
(A good floor plan is a valuable sales tool! It helps people make spatial sense of photos and videos, and if it includes some measurements, it also helps them plan what furniture to bring or buy. Alas, many of our current plans do not have measurements because the source blueprints lacked that information, but I always include numbers when they exist.)
This morning I had a fasting blood draw. I ran into a snag where the lab had no record of performing a blood test on me in August, which is a problem because my doctor told me to get a test right after my annual physical (August 10 of last year), and then another in 6 months so she could check for any changes, etc. They also have conflicting records about a visit that may or may not have happened in late March -- the lab staff member said March 23, but according to my journal I had both blood and urine collected on March 25, and my recollection is that these tests happened at my doctor's office. The urine test results exist in the patient portal, but the blood test results are nowhere to be found even though I apparently saw them on March 30 of last year??? It's all extremely peculiar.
Unfortunately I was not writing in my journal regularly last year, so I have no idea what did or didn't happen vis-à-vis blood draws in August. :(
Anyway, this time I am recording VERY CLEARLY FOR THE RECORD that I had blood drawn on the morning of Wednesday, February 7, 2024, and also gave a urine sample. I have seen the test results in my patient portal, so not only were the samples taken, the tests have been run.
I need to talk to both the lab and my doctor's office to figure out if we need to schedule a new fasting blood draw for this August, so the results will be ready in time for my physical.
(Tangentially, I would like to know why my doctor's practice has a separate patient portal even though it's part of the overall Cayuga Medical system -- some information exists on both the women's health portal and the general portal, but some information only exists in one location or the other, which is not a great way to run a records system if you ask me.)
