In other news, ff.net has apparently fixed the alert function problem and caught up on the backlog of messages. Yay!

In other other news, chapter 9 of "Guardian" is at 600 words, chapter 8 of "Lemonade" is outlined in detail, and I've added a few hundred words each to two original stories: "Beauty" for Dad and Vicky, and "The Painted Sky," which is an Ekanu story. Oh, and I have the 30th piece of "Fixation, and Other Stories" outlined, as well as a rough idea for the 'tag' ficlet. Double yay!

That's what they all say...

I'm usually working on a couple of Ekanu stories at any given moment, but progress is, shall we say, glacial. "The Painted Sky" has an initial snippet posted somewhere in my lj memories, but it's a much longer story than that snippet. It's also kind of complicated to write because a fair bit of it is a reaction to "Small Mysteries," which is a story I haven't even started writing. (On account of "Small Mysteries" being semi-serious romance, which I still don't trust myself not to screw up. *sigh*)
