Bodies are so weird.

I was (for me) extremely horny for the past several days, which, being myself, expressed mostly as an intense desire to read kinky porn. Often in the past this kind of mood has been correlated with ovulation, which sort of makes sense, but this time? Nope!

I was suddenly not interested in porn AT ALL yesterday, and then I got my period at about 2am this morning.

Dear endocrine system, what on earth was the plan here.

This isn't really a thing anymore since I had my hysterectomy (or at least, it's impossible to distinguish as a specific phenomenon anymore) but I was always super extra horny while I was having my period (and not specifically at any other time, like, say, ovulation). Thanks, body, that's just SO useful, why are you like this.

Yeah, the time between super horny and Aunt Flo arriving has been getting shorter and shorter and is now overlapping more often than not. It makes no sense. Peri-menopause is a trip. 😒
