weekend trip
Jun. 11th, 2004 12:41 pmThe family is off to Roannoke, Virginia to visit Uncle Dick. (He's actually my great-uncle.) I haven't seen him in years, and this time we're actually spending the entire weekend and doing Shenandoah Valley touristy things.
You know, I have no idea whatsoever if I spelled any of those names correctly. *sigh*

I have determined that I must bring a pencil and a sketch pad to my psych classes. The trouble is that I tend to get tired and drift off if I'm just sitting and listening to a teacher lecture. And I can't/won't take notes on everything they say, because most of it is not really note-worthy. So in order to keep myself awake, I've resorted to doodling -- it takes up much less of my attention than writing, so I can still keep half an ear on the lecture. But it's hard to do anything really decent in pen, since I'm not a particularly skilled artist and I always have to erase things.
